The Little League® Pledge is a historical document, written in the mid-1950s, by an official of Little League. 
Our players, coaches, teams, staff and families voluntarily recite this pledge at the beginning of each game as well
as the Pledge of Allegiance.




Players are not obligated to participate in reciting the pledge. They may choose to remain silent if they wish.
